Your wedding day will move faster than you expect. It will be filled with fleeting glances, quiet nerves, and moments you won’t even realize are happening. I photograph weddings for people who care deeply about how it felt, not just how it looked. With an approach rooted in observation and intention, I create posed and candid images that are honest, elegant, and timeless. Years from now, you won’t just remember the day, you will feel it again. If you value authentic experiences and you’re madly in love, we just might be a good fit!
Congratulations!
Hello! I’m Ebony
I’ve been photographing couples since 2012. There was a time when I travelled across the USA teaching photographers how to pose couples, but these days I love photographing engagements, elopements, and weddings in the epic landscapes that British Columbia has to offer. This has got to be one of the most beautiful places on Earth to get married! I’m known for the environmental quality to my work, for incorporating the incredible landscapes around us. The greenery and the scenery are such great storytellers, here. I capture authentic moments, but I also make posing feel natural and fun, so you don’t have to worry about what you look like or where to put your hands. Your day will go by so fast, but I’ll include little moments of connection for you to slow down and take it all in… those moments make for great photographs. I look forward to learning more about the details of your day!

You were SO much fun to work with. We were both nervous because we haven’t had any professional photos before. BUT YOU MADE IT SO MUCH FUN!!! We were relaxed and connected - the photoshoot actually felt like it was a part of our commitment. Thank you so much.

Why “Red Cedar”?
The Western Red Cedar tree is truly magical. It has been used by local First Nations communities for thousands of years to build homes, boats, and to make medicine. Even after it is cut down, this magnificent tree will last another 100 years. Just like your wedding photos, the Red Cedar tree is an heirloom, a pillar, essential to the health and future of your family.
My goal is to start your heirloom collection with an incredible collection of photographs from your wedding day that uniquely capture the details of your love and connection.
